As a physician and a surgeon, Dr. Sutton is trained to diagnose and treat hundreds of conditions, including:
- Farsightedness, nearsightedness, astigmatism and presbyopia, which can all be fixed with simple glasses or contact lenses
- Glaucoma, which can be treated with medication eyedrops or laser in certain cases
- Diabetic eye damage
- Cataract Evaluation
- Macular degeneration
- Dry eyes, watery eyes, itchy / red eyes, and eye pain or discomfort
- Infections of the eyes and eyelids
- Trauma / injuries to the eyes and eyelids
Our office uses a state-of-the-art electronic medical records system that is integrated with Columbus Regional Healthcare System and its Emergency Room, as well as many hospital-affiliated medical practices throughout Columbus County. This allows for effective and rapid communication between all of your physicians on a scale that was previously impossible. Since many eye problems go hand-in-hand with diseases that affect the rest of the body, our patients receive the highest quality collaborative care, in which all of their physicians can participate as part of the healthcare team.
